Which story stands out the most?

From a submissive wife to one who posess the guts to murder her husband in cold blood,this itself is the culmination of the story''Lamb to the Slaughter''.When we read of this section,questions will swarm across our minds.If we analyse them,we can actually read into the deepest corner of man's mind.One question that we can ask ourselves:Was Mary Maloney indeed impulsive or did she has any motives in killing her husband.We cannot give a perfect answer to this.Hardly any few books can provoke reader's thoughts.Also,the author is able to handle the drastic change of the story.This itself is quite a challenging task.He is also able to describe the happenings clearly.Thus,I prefer ''Lamb to the slaughter'' to the other two stories.
