I spectated the match live on television and I must comment that it is splendid.Although I am a ardent fan of Chelsea, but I cannot deny the fact that Manchester United has also gallant warriors like Chelsea. The clash, held at Old Trafford, which is Manchester United's stadium, kicked off at 7.50 sharp till about 9.50.In this brief period of one and half hour(excluding break),it was filled with stunts and high-octane actions that kept my heart palpitating every second. The twenty minutes into the game was dull, with Chelsea dominating the ball.Pivoters like Deco and Florent Malouda aimed and flanked, but Lady Luck was not smiling at them until twenty minutes when Malouda made a sharp cross to Joe Cole ,who was positioned right before the goal post and twisted the ball backwards, which sent the ball rolling backwards and into the goal.Chelsea fans like me hurled our fists into the air and let loose cheers of joy.
Deadlock began to continue hanging over the match. It was the offside goal from Drogba at 78 minutes that broke it.I do not understand why the referee failed to observe it,but I am still delighted that Chelsea scored.
Soon after seven minutes,Nani from Manchester United made a return by tipping the ball into the net with his chest. But this came too late, and Chelsea persisted to the last minute. The second when the whistle was sounded, triumphant Chelsea players hung their head up and celebrated with their fans in tears of joy.
This victory is indeed a boost to both Chelsea's confidence and points and now, they are currently leading Manchester United, which is sprinting behind,by two points. They have just made a comeback from the defeats and draws a few weeks ago.
I like your detailed description of the epic clash between the two football teams. You must be a vivid football fan!
